- Find the product. Search for it on PriceWatchPro, or install the free Chrome extension and open the product's page on walmart.com: the price history panel appears on the page.
- Check the lowest price and its date. If today's price is at or near the lowest we've recorded, it's a good price for that item. If it's well above, the "sale" is probably routine.
- Compare stores. When the same product (same UPC) is also sold at another store we track, its page lists the other store's price too.
- Set a price alert. Enter the price you want and your email address. When our daily update finds the price at or below your target, we email you. Free, no account needed.

How these numbers are calculated
TVs here are the in-stock TVs in Walmart's TV & Home Theater department, not counting accessories. We record each one's price from Walmart's product data every day and keep every change.
We use the 46 TVs that already had a price in January 2026. For each month, a product's price is the last price recorded on or before the end of that month, and the index is 100 times the median of (that month's price ÷ its first-month price).
The Black Friday comparison uses the last price we recorded on November 28, 2025 for each product we were already tracking then and that is still in stock. The two lists include TVs priced $100 or more whose price hasn't changed more than 8 times in 90 days, at most two per brand or product family. Price drops count cuts of 10–50% from a price held for at least 3 days; "lowest price" products have at least 90 days of history and are 10–50% below their highest recorded price.
