A free BrickSeek alternative for price history and price-drop alerts
Most shoppers look for a BrickSeek alternative because the features they want now sit behind a paywall. BrickSeek's Premium plan is $19.99 a month, and its historical pricing is only in the $39.99-a-month Extreme plan.
PriceWatchPro gives you price history for free. Every day, it records the online price of more than 8 million products at Walmart, Best Buy and Home Depot and shows the full history on a chart, with free email alerts when a price drops. No account, no paywall.
Why shoppers switch to PriceWatchPro
- Free price history. The full chart for every tracked product, not a $39.99-a-month add-on.
- Free price-drop alerts. Pick your price and get an email when it drops. No account needed.
- Three stores in one place. The same item is matched across Walmart, Best Buy and Home Depot by UPC.
- History right where you shop. The Chrome extension shows the price history on the retailer's own product page.

Why price history beats a "was" price
A crossed-out "was $199" tells you what the retailer says the item used to cost. It doesn't tell you whether the item sold for $149 most of the summer, or whether this exact discount comes around every few weeks.
A price history answers three questions a sale tag can't:
- Is this the lowest price in months, or just a normal price wearing a sale badge?
- How often does this item go on sale, and how deep do the drops go?
- When it drops, how long does the low price last? That tells you whether to buy now or wait.
That's what PriceWatchPro shows you, for three stores at once.
What you get with PriceWatchPro, free
- A price chart for every tracked product, with the lowest and highest price we've recorded and the date of each.
- A plain-English read of today's price, for example how it compares with the 90-day average and the list price.
- The same item at other stores. When the UPC matches, the product page shows where else we track it and at what price.
- Price-drop emails. Enter the price you want and your email address, with no account. When our daily update finds the price at or below your target, we email you.
- A Chrome extension that shows the history panel right on Walmart, Best Buy and Home Depot product pages. It also works in Edge, Brave and Opera on desktop. Get it here.
- Department price trends: a monthly price index for each Walmart, Best Buy and Home Depot department, so you can see whether a category is getting cheaper. See price trends.
- Today's biggest price drops, measured against each item's own price history. Drops steeper than 70% and prices that flip back and forth are left out, because those are usually feed errors, not deals. See today's drops.
Coverage, by the numbers

| Best Buy | 2,772,720 | 17,524,705 |
| Home Depot | 4,852,749 | 33,564,023 |
| Total | 8,021,988 | 54,069,611 |

How to check a sale in under a minute
- Find the item on PriceWatchPro. Search by product name. If you have the Chrome extension, just open the product page on Walmart, Best Buy or Home Depot and the panel appears.
- Look at the lowest price and its date. If today's price is at or near the lowest we've recorded, it's a good price by the item's own history. If it's a long way above, the "sale" is probably routine.
- Check "also tracked at." The same UPC is sometimes cheaper at one of the other two stores.
- Not ready to buy? Set a target price. We'll email you when the daily update finds it at or below that price.
A workflow for clearance hunters and resellers
- Spot the markdown on the shelf or in a deal feed.
- Look up the item's online price history on PriceWatchPro. If the store's price is well below the lowest online price we've recorded, it's a real markdown, not a routine sale.
- Compare the same UPC across Walmart, Best Buy and Home Depot. A price gap between stores is where a flip's margin comes from.
- Set alerts on the items you're waiting on, so the next drop comes to your inbox instead of you checking every day.
