How to find Walmart hidden clearance, and check if it's really a deal
"Hidden clearance" is what shoppers call Walmart markdowns you can't see from the aisle: items marked down in a store's system before the shelf tag changes, or marked down without being advertised. Finding them takes a bit of looking. Knowing whether the price you found is actually good takes a price history, and that's where PriceWatchPro comes in.

Where hidden clearance shows up in the store
- Clearance endcaps and aisles. Most stores gather marked-down items in one or two spots; check the shelves behind the obvious ones too.
- Seasonal sections after the season. Shoppers commonly report clearance waves right after a holiday and when a store switches seasons, such as patio and garden at the end of summer.
- Tags that don't match. An old shelf label, a clearance sticker on one item but not its neighbors, or a product in discontinued packaging are all worth a price check.
- Single leftover items. A lone box of something the store no longer stocks is a common clearance candidate.
How to check the price in the store
Prices can differ from store to store, so the price that counts is the one the store charges. Scan the item at one of the store's price-check scanners, or ask an associate to scan it, before you get in line.

How to tell if the clearance price is a real deal
